1967 Diamond Excellency  Evidently repaired at some point with a 10CH M9 movement  Probably not the original Spiedel bands but it does look nice on the watch

Nice one. I like the diamond face watches. This one is a

1967 Diamond Excellency (no variant)

We have yet to pin down a variant letter for this watch in white gold. In yellow gold it would be a DE "E". My  educated guess would be it's an "F" variant in white, but there is no proof to date that this is the case.

I didn't notice any variants in the database when I was looking. Also no ads for '67 either

Go off the home page and click "model name". Select Diamond Excellency off the drop down. To date, we have ID'ed 6 different variants. Choose any of the "E" variants posted and there are ads attached to them in comments.

May be Diamond Excellency "L"

Nice looking watch.  I would be ok with “L” unless a price list specifies and variant by color.

I may be wrong, but I think the referenced (bad resolution) ad shows the variant letter  "E"  (determined to be yellow gold) with option of available in white, as opposed to the letter  "L".

You are right Bob, letter in the ad is for variant 'E'.

Still no confirmation on color, for me; so I am at tentative with a variant assigned.
