Additional Information

Hi, I got a while ago, in the US, this lovely 1967 Bulova Sea King (with its original, vintage mesh metal band by JB Champion that unfortunately cannot be shortened, I am at the maximu, short setting of the clasp.... and is too large for my think wrist..... sigh...., so I replaced with a nice Kreisler USA). It's got a sturdy 11BLACD caliber (stamped M9 = 1969)
I don' t know what Sea King model it could be as it has not exactly a round shape, would not know how to call this case shape ?

Anybody has an idea of the model ?

thanks in advance

Hi Proby01,

Welcome to mybulova.  All watches start as Unknown.  After the panel members have reviewed the watch and if they are able to ID the watch it is then changed from Unknown to the model name : )

You are welcome.  I took a look though the ads and didn't find a Sea King with this shape case yet.  Will keep looking.

After looking through the 1960s and 70s ads I didn't find a variant for this Sea King.  Very nice watch.

Hi Proby01, welcome aboard. Here is other example of this watch in the Db:

We have so far been unable to assign a variant to it. I like the shape, it's very late 60's.

Best I can do for an ID is

1967 Bulova Sea King

I updated case shape for you.

I've also had a good look through a number of ads and cannot find a match.

Generic 1967 Bulova Sea King for now.

thanks to all for looking into this...  I guess we can update the model name to a generic "sea king" ?
