Watch Description

Got this one not working with a bad case of gasket melt, a terribly scratched up crystal, and a broken oscillating weight axle. Given the neglect I was lucky to have such a beautifully aged and perfect dial and hands. The melted rubber had gotten on the movement and was a sticky mess to clean up but it was most certainly worth it!

Some Snorkel have it on the dial, and some don't.  The case back is great.
I'm good with tentative Snorkel unknown variant.

I'd put this VERY COOL watch in as a Snorkel. Nice job too Aberlow.....'gasket melt'......yikes!

Very nice, I agree with the rest of the panel.

Rethinking this one for this date.  While we have a couple ads from around this time suggesting "snorkel" is a model name (versus subset of Oceanographer), I think all of those ads have snorkel on the dial.

Still wondering... Oceanographer or Snorkel model....
