Additional Information

Strange thing about this watch is it has a 68 movement? I have seen the prior year, but never the future year installed - Does this mean someone has replaced the movement?

I don't think it at all odd that the movement post dates the case by a year. Considering that the difference between the two could be but one day it's reasonable to find a movement a year newer than a case, in fact I'm surprised that we don't see it more often.

I agree that the watch is an AeroJet but suggest dating it to 1968, based on the movement.

Stylistically it is a '67, but in this case there is little if any differences in the case styles between the two years. On certain Bulova models, one year makes a huge difference.

Depending on how Bulova was stamping the movts, they may have been assembling them simultaneously with the case pressings, again, depending on the source for the case. I've often wondered if, like automobiles, they manufacture prior to the actual model year but stamp/call them by the intended release/sale year.

I'd be inclined to go with the case date as the identifier, if only to be sure that during a search for an ID, the appearance of the exterior is what is determining the model. There is also the possibility that there was all kinds of overlap during the assembly process, with end of the year stampings mingling with a new (next year) run, that sort of thing.
