Found this watch on the bay last month. It sat around for a while because I had other projects I wanted to finish before I went to restore this one. Its quite the odd watch. For starters its a two hander in a men's case with a ladies style movement in it. Plus the finish on the case really isn't a florentine pattern. It's more like a nugget type finish. Not to mention the shamrocks embossed on the back of the dial (most likely from the dial manufacturer). The movement is a 6 CL with a M8 date code on it, and the case is stamped M8 .0015 gold electroplate bezel RGP back. All in all an odd watch from the late 60's.
Cool watch, not so uncommon for Bulova to slip ladies watch movements into mens watches, I've seen many over the years, especially mid sixties. We have two adverts showing this one to be the President C. Neither are very clear but one is here.
