Watch Description

I have poured over advertisements available for hours without coming up with a perfect match.  This is a family "treasure" passed down from one mother to the next.  Any insight, thought or idea will be appreciated as I would love to determine a date and name for this beauty.  I have never taken the back off to read any additional markings or codes. It has a Speidel elastic band.

Your watch could be from a few models that depends on the movement inside.

If you are able to pop it open and determine the movement model and jewel count and also the date code, it will help us determine its model name and age.

I've updated to be 1969 for now.

The Dewdrop and First Lady are pretty close but I am not finding an exact match.  Looks like 60s in style to me.  Do you have an idea what decade it might be from?  Pretty watch.

Thanks  it is from the 60s,  I agree it certainly looks like a First Lady, but can't find the perfect match. Appreciate your input :)

After taking the back off I see it is 17 jewels movement with an M9 marking & a 5 8D or 5 8O on the watch along with a inside case marking of 3N76 C. Cannot figure out how to add these additional pictures to the listing.

The M9 dates your watch 1969.  It might be a 5BD movement but we can confirm after getting the photos added.  You can add photos in the comments by clicking on the colored square next to the note pad.  Click browse server, upload, choose file, insert, save.  If that doesn't work for you message me and I can help.

Fantastic!!  Glad that helped.  I am most familar with the 1940s movements.  I'm sure the other panel members will be able to give you more info now : )
