Hey guys,

Not sure on the year of this watch, I have to take the back off, I'll edit the date when I have the right info... for now I just wanted to add it to the site. Other than that I really looking for more info on the model of this watch etc, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Don't know what model it is but the N0 under the s/n means 1970

The little symbol on the crown is normally associated with the Accutron (tuning fork) models.  Hope this helps.

 Greetings timetravellers!

I am new to this forum, and here goes!

Firstly, I have to compliment sscott4 for his impeccable taste in watches;) - you see, the last picture of the beautiful 1970 Deep Sea Chronograph  is infact displaying the very watch I own. I purchased it on ebay a couple of years ago. Here is a link to the sellers own blog with even more pictures: http://watch-out.blogspot.com/2008/04/vintage-bulova-chrono-diver-with-mark.html

Unfortunately I had an accident recently and got a small crack in the crystal. I want to replace it, preferably with a new old stock, as quite a few of these are available on ebay. The trouble is I do not know what specifications I ought to be looking for. I will of course have it replaced professionally by a watchmaker here in Oslo, Norway.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be much obliged!

Sscott4 - I hope you do not feel I am barging in on your thread! Perhaps the information I am seeking is of interest to your own restoration project? Best of luck!!

Any info on a crystal for this watch would be greatly appreciated!

It's a Divers watch, and also a chronograph so I vote Deep Sea Chronograph for all three watches.

The subject movement is a Chronograph and the Super Compressor Case is depth rated to 666', as indicated on the Dial.

"DEEP SEA CHRONOGRAPH" -  variant unknown
