I believe this beautiful little watch belonged to my Grandmother. I found it when cleaning out my 87 yr old fathers house. I have yet to see a flower shaped Bulova on your site and am trying to find out more about this lovely timepiece. I have not opened the case for fear of damaging it so I know nothing about the movement. The case is stamped 14kt gold and has N.O ... Do i take this to mean 1970? The bracelet has a wonderful fold over clasp with built in safety which then folds down over original clasp. I don't see any identifying marks on the bracelet except the arrow on the clasp (see pic) so I'm not sure if it's the original or not. Opinions are welcome. Any help providing some info on it's history would be very much appreciated.
Another wonderful solid gold Bulova watch. Why can I never find one of these beauties :-)
As Geoff said have it serviced by one of our local myBulova members and wear it as much as you can!!
I'm at 'Unknown' model too, but I'm sure with such a unique case shape it shouldn't be hard to ID one day.
Thank you so much. It's very pretty and I really like the fact there is no other like it listed yet.
I didn't know it was 14k until i got out my magnifying glass last week to find dates on some coins & cropped the pics to fit the guidelines of your site. Pleasant surprise but I loved it before i knew that.
I don't want to break the rules of your site and while I have no intention of selling it, how would I find a value to list on insurance policy? I think i should list it separately. Do you?
A unique bezel easily identified by ad, unfortunately at this time there isn't an ad. In the running for the ID are the 'GOLDEN GODDESS' and 'LEADING LADY' models as both are shown as 23 Jewels in solid Gold. (not clear if the 'LEADING LADY' was avavailble in the 1970's).
A Jewelers written appraisal would satisfy any Insurance claim.
