The Taiwan case is throwing me for a loop...my first thought was a "Golden Clipper", but looking through the examples that I have in my collection, none are marked like this one... A picture of the other side of the case back will help...maybe...

Hi,

I would take a photo of the outer case, as you suggest - but, all it says is Bulova N1, Stainless Steel Case, and T 006594.

The movement is marked Bulova Watch Co. and Swiss.

The shape is tonneau, not round, as I first said.

Thanks.

Hmm yeah I noticed that as well and was going to ask Bulova if they ever produced a watch out of Taiwan in the 70s.

I can't find anything to match, but the case I have seen before. I had quite a few offshore Bulovas at one time from the 70's. I even had one I was sure was a Russian movt, but am beginning to think was a Japanese movt.

Unknown for now.

Have recieved a response back from Bulova regarding the "Taiwan' question.

"During the 70’s, we worked with a supplier that manufactured parts out of East Asia. This accounts for various watch components being stamped with country names."
