Case back says N1 but movement says N2.

Bought off a fantastic old watch repairer in Brecon South Wales. He had 10 amazing old Bulova tanks with tiny but stunning cases. I fell for the 70s vibes of this one though but cannot identify it from old catalogues.

I’d love to put the right strap on the watch. It came with a Bulova buckle but this has the tuning fork logo, so I assume that is from another watch.

I've done some searching, but was unable to find a match. I think that most 23 jewel watches would have something on the dial indicating that, like "23", but that may not be the case always. Maybe one of the other panel members can find a match.

Thanks for looking. There is an identical watch on eBay at the moment in silver. Same markings on dial, caseback and rotor, although I can’t tell if it says n1 or n2 on the rotor.

I don't find an advert matching this one either. 1971 Bulova Unknown

Thanks anyway. Even the year is a guess with this one. Still keeping good time and the gold plate still holds up despite some heavy dings. They definitely do not make them like these any more.

Great site btw. Nothing like it by fans of any other brands.

Based on the interior case markings, and s/n starting with "3 -  ", I suspect this one was produced outside the US. Sorry, it's

1971 Unknown for me as well.
