Watch Description

Possible Accutron Date & Day "G"

Case is 14KT Gold filled and dated N2, bezel has a brushed texture. Dial is the champaigne color with Roman numeral markers; luminous golden hands with black second hand. Case number 2925. Not the original band.

There are two ads from 1971 (ad1  ad2) that both show the second hand with tuning fork symbol on one end and not present on the dial. This one has only the tuning fork symbol on the dial.

There is a similar "F" variant, but that calls for a silver dial

I'd go two ticks for "G".  Noted tuning fork emblem on dial vs on back of second hand as in ad.

Yeah, I would not let that sweep hand keep me from ID'ing as the Day/Date G either. Seems like a small percentage of Bulova watches got the Roman treatment, always wondered.

Well done Ken.
