Nice one Jabs. I can not accept A variant because of the strap since the ad calls for a two tone blue corfam strap.

Definitely a 72 President though.

John,  the two ads from 1972 that I found have different bands.  I believe that for identification of variants it is not the most important :) Jaroslav

Agreed, I doubt an original band can be found now.I'm good with the A variant.

I would go President A on this one as well.

Nice Pres A to complement your burgandy dial Pres.    As long as we don't have any ads indicationg this case/dial are not a different variant based on different bands/straps, I'm good with President A, but I do hear what JP is saying.   Keep your eyes out for the two-tone corfam strap....which would really put this one ever farther over the top!

I will try to find the original straps, although I do not think it would be so easy  I have completed a full seseries Presidents A to F (B, E, F are still on the road)  I'd like to have a nice collection :)

Targeted search and with patience I got NOS two tone blue Corfam strap. Cost me a lot of money (one third of price watch).

with original strap watches look like this
