Watch Description

Stainless Steel Case measures 40mm lug to lug x 36mm wide non inclusive of the Crown using Calipers. White 'Cross Hair' Dial with Orange stripe shows printed Hour markers, Bulova signature, 'Spinnaker' and Automatic insignias. A Day / Date window appears at 3:00 O'Clock. Hour, Minute and sweep Center Seconds Hands are Stainless Steel. Crown is Stainless Steel, signed. Caseback is Stainless Steel, screws on and is stamped as shown. I only wish My Watch were the one below. This model has been seen in White with Green also and there are 2 Dial and Case variants I know of. * A 'Spinnaker' is a special type of Sail that is designed specifically for Sailing 'off the Wind' from a reaching coarse to a downwind with the wind 90°–180° off the bow. The Spinnaker is constructed of lightweight fabric, usually Nylon, is often brightly colored and balloons out in front of the boat when it is deployed, or  flying. The first boat to fly a Spinnaker was the "Sphinx" which in 1958 was sold to the Naval College Mürwik. In the 1960's and 70's the Nav y won a total 9 times the “Blaue Band der Flensburger Förde” for the fastest local Yacht. as found.  Watch has some issues but will come back nicely, does anyone have the band?

Check with Ron Sabo at International Watch Man, bet he would do one reasonably cost effective, his bands are really top shelf and pretty inexpensive.

Yup, the band on the Orange and White Watch shown in the original listing is a reproduction, according to the Owner.

I have the Acier Swiss Buckle, which is rare...and a N.O.S. Crystal courtesy of Cas-Ker which arrived Today.

Hey Mark,

when you get a chance, could you post a close-up photo of the buckle? Thanks!
