Watch Description

Here we have a N8 automatic daydate watch with an 17 jewels  ETA 2879 movement (above the numbers are also the letters CW shown, the ETA sign is left of this). It says dual-day and automatic set-o-matic on the dial. It comes with an original Bulova,  guess goldfilled, watchband (is not stated on band nore on case or back). The daydate has a quickset and two languages: french and english. No Bulova crown. Back has N8 on it. The crystal is 30mm, case (without crown) is 35 and 40mm lug to lug. I had the movement completely overhauled by my watchmaker Albert Koopman and a new crystal was placed.  Nice watch, and excellent movement. I have a Rado with the same calibre in it, and it is capable of COSC.

I didn't see an ad for "set-o-matic" (nor a reference to this feature).  I did see several ads from this period referring to "quick set" technology/feature for various models.  Was this model name accepted from the name on the dial?

I don't think Set O Matic is a model name, but that's just my gut feeling. Otherwise, it wouldn't be printed under the "Automatic", it would be more prominently featured, under the "Bulova". 

I'm trying to find the ones I have, but having no luck, I may have sold them.

That ad helps.  Three watches listed as Clippers, and all of them say set-o-matic on dial-like subject watch.

I think the Movement Model should be 1133.10.

Owner has "None" under Case Serial # and doesn't note a case date. I would like clarification before assigning ticks.
