Hello! i have a Bulova Snorkel but i don't find any Informations about this modell. I think it is a 666 but it is not like the pictures that you find at the internet. You see the bezel insert is completly blue and there is no 666 at the dial. Unfortunately the back cover is polished :-/ can everyone tell me more about this watch? Thanks

Can you confirm the movement date code? Is it N8?

Also any information on the inside backcase.

Yes, it is a N8 and inside the back Cover is written: MLB 7202 swiss

Hello Schlumpa, welcome to myBulova. I like this watch a lot, I have one very similar here. I think we would name this one Oceanographer. It's interesting that your dial reads "Automatic 23 Jewels" as mine is "Automatic 666 Feet".

Case No. 7202 is genuine for the movement 11A0ACB

@ Geoff Baker: I only found your Watchversion, but i don't found the Watch with this completly blue Bezel and this Dial

@ mybulova_Admin: Yes Case and Movement fit together.

We have two options for this watch, Oceanographer or Snorkel 666?

I'm more inclined with Snorkel 666 as the Oceanographer typically had the name on the dial, as this one does with 'Snorkel'.

I'm still at Oceanopgrapher.

Panel - any suggestions on this beauty? It's waiting for a name......

I'm leaning towards 'Oceanographer Snorkel', variant unknown.

I'm finding a few old newspaper adverts that seem to be putting the word 'snorkel' in the same context as 'Calendar' and 'Date/time', almost as a key functional element of the watch, in this case an underwater watch.

We current have model groups for the Accutron series like; Accutron Calendar, Accutron Day/Date, Accutron Deep Sea etc.... so....what I'm suggesting based on this is that 'Oceanographer' has a similar grouping of 'Snorkel'. We may yet even see a new sub-grouping of 'calendar' and 'day/date' for Oceanographers as they seem to come with a number of these functional styles. Maybe...maybe not....just a thought at this stage.
