This model is very similar to one called the "La Petite cd" back in 1960 but that had a 23j movement. Case looked more refined back then too so don't know if the maker changed

Generic La Petite.

GVP is right.  I just checked 19 ads on site w/ La Petite.  Several had more than one variant in the ad.  Every ad states 23 jewel movement. One ad was specifically for La Petite, and really played up one of the distinguishing features of the series is having 23 jewels.

Was there an ad to support this watch? I'm struggling with a 1979 watch ID to match a 1960 era ad.

Unknown to me.

I didn't see a 1960's era ad matching this watch.  All ads I saw stated 23 jewels.
I'm going with unknown too.

hmmm... now that I look at this a little more I'm seing some inconsistancies. The case is very much like a 1960's La Patite, The 'BULOVA' on the dial looks all wrong and the movement is a very generic ladies Bulova movement.

Changing to Unknown.

Anyone else with a thought.

Unknown, the watch matches watches from the sixties, but with a 1979 date, this could be anything, and probably just has a number for an ID.

Unknown from me.
As mentioned, the movement date/markings/jewel count are inconsistent w/ some "close" ads from pervious years.
