Watch Description

Excellency GG or Ambassador. I know the dial is not right for Ambassador but it is a 1948 Movement with a seriel #8438784. I had the dial redone as exact by International. The case measures 38.70mmx21.40mm. Case back say's 10K Gold Filled Bulova

Beautiful watch Dennis. Nice re-dial job.

IMO it is an execllency FF of 1948 vintage. Case, jewels,dial and hands conform to that model.

Hi Daca, All of the Tuxedo Ad's that I can find call for 14K solid Gold, unless I missed one

Good point.  I missed that in this ad, but I think that this is still a fair guess as to the model name.

Bulova frequently offered models in both filled/plated and solid gold versions.

Everything else matches up and I believe that this ad was the first to show this particular case with the belled lugs and flat table on the top of them.
