I have little information on this watch outside that it may be 1920's. I have found nothing equivalent in the database or through Google searches. I want to determine restoration concerns before I start. I have not opened the watch and probably will not until I hopefully can learn more.
There is text on the inside of the clasp that I can only read as Breton Gold Filled top Pat Pen.
For consistency, IMO this would be a three star ID if the jewel count was known and we could read the date code on the case back. I'm pretty sure it's a 1948/49 "G" variant, however IMO it's misleading to give three stars when it's listed as w/ 7 jewels and these other details are missing or assumed- even if we knew these details, they should be listed in the record.
Is this "overkill" in DB quality? Two star tentative from me till updated record, unless others feel this is not correct reasoning for this rating. Opinions?
