Greetings Great Keepers of Time, I recently purchased this Bulova that I believe is called the "Big Block". Actually this is the second one that I have because while taking it apart I managed to break the adjustment plate off of the movement on the first one. I was so heart broken but luckily I came across another that I was able to purchase. I have not, for obvious reasons, tried to take this one apart but I am becoming frustrated with the inability to get the stem and plates to align correctly so that I can set and maintain the correct time as well as the rest of the functions working properly. It will show the red led light when the stem is actuated but the numbers just flash across the face which tells me that it works, but not like it should. I am not certain that I was correct with the movement information so please correct me if I am wrong. I would greatly appreciate any feedback or guidance from you on what to do to correctly repair this watch. I believe that of all my Bulovas, I do like this one the best but have yet had the opportunity to show it off to others. Again and as always, your knowledge is greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello Great One, I will give it a try as the back case does identify the proper batteries to use. The batteries that are currently with it are size AG13. I will definitely try different batteries and see if that works. Thank you again for all of your help... Billy
