I am preparing to work on a 1953 Unknown with a 21 jewel 10BM. However, it needs a new crown.
Looking at the regular crown numbers in yellow, there's an 1122, 1124, and an 1126.
What is the difference between these three?

I genuinely appreciate the specifications.
By the way, I have been curious about the name "1955 Mercury". It is either the car (Medalist, Monterey, Montclair, etc.), or it's in reference to a 1955 Timex Mercury watch. If it's the car, which series and model do you own thing for(even though this has not much to do with Bulova watches!)?

I have see a lot of '55-'56 glass roof Crown Vic's (the former original Skyliner) but never a '55 Sun Valley. Has to be quite rare! And I grew up, and live, in the metro Detroit area (even belonged to the Ford-Mercury Restorers Club), and still never have seen one.
