Once again we have the elusive 21 J, 10AX movement in this Beacon-esk dial. The watch model still unknown.
Second one I've found in this exact configuration. Just got the watch today... needs a pretty good cleaning.
I have two square watches from the early 40s, the basic square bezels measure 24.5mm x 24.5mm. The crystals measure 20.9mm x 20.9mm. I would venture that the watches under discussion have the same dimensions. The same measurements as the Beacon, that we do have an ad for, and have ID. So many of these square watches have not been found in ads yet. I would think that the crystal books have a list of the watch names that take the same crystals, however from what I have seen you need an ad to authenticate the crystal model guess. Especially with the multitude of square watches & varient dials.
Wayne.
