With watches that have a movement and case date code that are more than 2 years apart we determine these to be non-conforming watches.
The watch model (case and dial) is fundamentally a 1942 Bulova Spencer, but in this watch the date gap is too great to confirm it as a complete and accurate Spencer.
This is were it can be tricky to ID. If there is no other model like this then we could simply ID as a Bulova Spencer, noting that it has a later replacement movement and hands.
