Hello everyone and thank you for approving my account request.
I am here looking for knowledge regarding a Bulova time piece i acquired.
It has a 7750 movement and the case looks very much like Breitling Chronomat.
I know nothing about it except the movement. Pictures below.
Any info would be appreciated.
Your watch will be post 1980, to you should find a 'T' date code on it. See here for the date codes to help you determine the exact age.
Other than helping with the age of your watch, we typically do not deal with post 1980 watches.
Thank you @neetstuf-4-u for your reply. Unfortunately i couldn't open the back so i do not have any movement pictures for the moment. Previous owners scratched the back case pretty bad, so i don't really want to make it worse. I will bring it to an experienced maker so maybe he can open it. Will edit this post when i have the pictures.
Bulova had a number of watches like this around the same time period. Breitling itself had shut down in 1979, and whether they would be back was doubtful, it was the quartz crisis after all. They did restart in 1982, but I'm guessing not before some of their designs had 'homages' made by various companies. I suspect that is what we are seeing here.
