Just broken the stem on my watch. I have found a supplier close to home who has partial female stem extensions, but I need to know the stem size. The watch is a 1962 Surf King, pop-out case (waterproof), 11AL mvmnt. The sizes he has are 0.7,0.8,0.9 and 1.0 just need to know which to order. Anyone help?
I've been looking at the wrong part, it is the female winding part needed, that sits in the movmnt. and the catalogue doesn't mention the AL mvmnt. so don't know which size will fit. Will need to know of supplier now as the ones I was looking at were for the crown side and won't fit!
Ranfft notes some interchangeability info for the 11AL family.

On his site above, I don't know what the entry Stem W2802 means?
JP probably got you more in depth info already.
mybulova watch movement database needs to be updated to reflect the date range from 1964 through 1967- as evidenced by movements in watch records. I'll confirm and update now. We have a 1963 Surf King listed as having an 11AL, however the date is from the case back, and the movement date code is not mentioned/confirmed.
