First off, thank you for this site. I t appears that there are many knowledgable folks here specific to Bulovas. I have been lurking for a few weeks and am impressed with the knowledge base. Personally, I am the grandson of an employee of Elgin National Watch company, and my grandfather passed on his skills with watches and tools to me before he passed. For the last 40 years I have collected Elgin pocket watches and within the last year decided to explore wristwatches, specifically Bulovas due to their availability and company history. My non-screen name is Tom and I live in the Columbus, Indiana area.
With that said, I have a question concerning a Bulova "23". I have recently acquired a working "23" but need to locate a crown. I think my supplier can provide the proper stem, but I do not have a catalog identifying the crown part number. The movement is a 1957 10BPAC in a stainless case. Any help would be appreciated. I will post my collection of 10 Bulovas as soon as I can get around to uploading the files.
Well, I have checked the site database and have determined that the stem is part number 16. However the crown can be any one of 6 different ones. The case that is in question is the same as:

Hi And Welcome,
Depending on the case, it could be a 323, 325 , 303 or a G711. # 16 is the standard part # for all Bulova stems. Depending on the watch case it could be a single but there is a possibility that it could be a 2 piece split stem. (hence the missing crown perhaps).
Is the case a one piece or a screw off back?

Thank you for the welcomes, you are a very accommodating group! Elgin translates pretty well to just about all movements except for Accutrons 8-). I've got a few Bullys now, just have to pickup on the accent. PM me for those "other" guys so we don't mess with the intent of this site.
