I picked up this really early ladies watch. The watch needs a good cleaning and a lug repair, but all in all not to bad for the year.
I believe this to be the model as there are several 1924 Ads which seems to work.

I think you're right Will. Dr Ranfft has a 6TAA 17j listed. He dates it to ca. 1925 but to me the styling looks older than the subject movement.

...and that 6 in Dr Ranfft's example sure looks like a G at first glance. I have no idea what the other number listed under :example" is - the 166112. Almost looks like the example has two serial numbers, one next to Bulova (10311) and another on the far left. Neither of them look like 166112. "Styling" does look older than subject watch.
