I inherited this watch from my grandfather, who owned a jewelry store and repaired antique watches. I don't even know if it is a genuine Bulova. I stated the year as 1950 because it was required to complete this listing, but I have no idea. I would certainly love to learn the manufacturer year and model (and if it is genuine). If anyone would care to share that information, I would be grateful! Best regards~
Has all the characteristics of an Air Warden case.
Not a genuine military model, this does not look like a waterproof case, or even Watertite, looks to have a press on case back, maybe a medical type watch, like those sold during the war years.
I agree with 1945 date,Will.
severel of these in the database now added since the subject Watch entry, all are Dated 1945 - '46 and contain a 15 Jewel 10 AK or 16 Jewel 10 AKCSH 'Military' Movement.
