I took it to do a review, the watch works manually I was shown the absence of the automatic part..I don’t know why...can someone help me ?

This part missed it all! is a bulova retailer for a lot of years and he could not tell me anything, my fear is that he took it away. I am spending Much money from him for review and adjustment of crown and date ! This watch is the most important things I have .

Do not despair - You have two choices. There is no reason this watch cannot be manually wound everyday and worn regularly if properly serviced. On the other hand you could have a professional watchmaker source a replacement part and install it. Either way you have a functioning watch. Do not assume that the last person that service the watch removed it, the watch is 55 years old it could have been removed decades ago.

As admin stated above, you could also buy a replacement movement

Thank you so much for your support!! I want to make it works manually but one crown needs to be changed and since the automatic part is missing, the watchmaker doesn’t know what calibre is.....he told me that .
