Just found a photo online of my watch! It was on ebay a while back as is described as a Accutron 2182 Up Down Stainless Steel Day Date -- thoughts?

Hi Brian - regarding the link and the information above, Bulova used several movement families over the years of Accutron production. The model 218 movement found in your watch was sub categorized into several levels, each level designated by a 4th number. 2182 is the model of the movement in your watch, not the model number of the watch itself. The 'Up Down" name is colloquial, just a name someone not related to Bulova has used to describe a watch. We see several of these types of names pop up occasionally but are careful not to use them here as they are not "official" Bulova designations. If we cannot determine, from Bulova advertising the name they gave it we will only refer to it as an "Accutron" or if it's Non-Accutron Bulova, "Unknown".
Specifically related to your watch we have determined that Bulova named and advertised it the "Date and Day" model. All we need to clarify further is whether or not it's the "Q" or "S" variant.
PS - sorry about having to remove the link to the ebay listing, we just don't allow links to active auctions on myBulova.
