Stainless Steel case and back. Purchased in 1970 for £12.50 while on holiday in Jersey (Channel Islands)
I bought this watch 47 years ago! Can't remember how but I managed to break off the second hand!? It's being repaired at the moment. Very little use but runs well despite never being serviced.
Couldn't find photos of anything similar and was hoping for a little input from yourselves. Thanks, Alan
Hi Al - welcome to myBulova, amazing that you've managed to keep this one looking good for all those years, well done!
I'm not sure I see anything in terms of a match either. Many of the adverts we have are from North American publications, Mexico, Canada and the US. We hold belief that Bulova had models produced in the European and Pacific Rim markets that we can't easily identify. We generally refer to these as "International" model. I too would probably classify this watch as an International model.
PS - have it serviced if you're going to wear it, it's worth the investment.
Thanks for your comments! It is Swiss Made and runs well. At the moment it is with my watchmaker to be serviced once a part can be obtained. We are needing a replacement second hand pinion which is proving to be a bit elusive at the moment.
I must admit I liked it when bought but think it has grown on me more since with it's minimalist case and bright dial.

Thanks, my Bulova is with my watchmaker at the moment, he is attempting to locate a centre seconds pinion (Debauche 275) needed for repair. It is proving to be a bit 'elusive' to say the least.
He told me the caliber is an 11 ALAC, so presumably if I were to get hold of a dead 11 ALAC movement I could salvage the required pinion from it?
