New Old Stock Day Date Automatic in original display case and storage box. Original Bulova Corfam strap with Bulova buckle. Case is all stainless. Day Date windows on opposite sides of dial. Hang tag identifies model as President A 11002 white SS 23J.

New snippet in a November 1972 newspaper ad from Texas. Full ad in 70's decade thread.
I'd given this watch three ticks some time ago based on the NOS paperwork and hang tag...but an ad is always nice too! It's weird...sometimes we see the whale on the dial...and sometimes we don't.
Edit: The ad above shows a price of $65, but clamshell case says $75. We have another 1972 ad showing the $75 price. Go figure.
I have a version of this watch. No Whale (Bulova calls it a "Cetacea", Latin for marine mammal". The President "A" watches are suppose to have a "quick set" feature, but my version without the Whale doesn't seem to function that way. Can someone offer a reason why some Bulovas that appear to be the same are presented with and without the Whale symbol?
