I don't have all the information needed on this forum since the back of the case hasn't been removed (I currently don't have the tools/knowledge to do it myself). I found this watch while going through some items at my parents house. It appears to have never been worn and is still in its original packaging. Based on an advertisement that I found on this site it shows up in a 1972 add and is called a "Accutron Date and Day 'AV'". The back of the case has an inscription on it which indicates that it was given to an individual in 1977.
Looking for instructions on setting this 1976 Day-Date AV model. I ask only because the crown does not seem to screw down or lock in any way and If I turn it clockwise it adjusts the numerical day. Pull out and adjusts hours and mins. Can’t seem to find a setting that adjusts the day of the week. Any help/advice appreciated.
