This watch is in it's original case and box and has the pamplet that came with the watch.

Well....anything is possible but you could be right. I'd like to see a bit more of the boxes - appears to be inner and outer, along with the papers included. Typically by the 50's, I'd be looking for something in the all plastic clam shell variety. What I see here looks like it could be 40's vintage.
BUT - forget about the boxes - this is a beautiful watch!! I love it!

Based on my collecting, Long Coffin style (wood based) typically late 20's/ early 30's
This style box, Mid 30's through mid to late 40's (composite mat./ Velvet outside/silk embossed inside) with embellishments ie: Gold style metal "straps" around outer edges. Some plain, no straps.
Clam-shell style (Plastic) Late 40's to early 60's (?)
Everything after 1960's = garbage except for "Special" watches like Limited editions or Jerins "Woody" (insert smart-assed comments here)
