I finally got out the light tent and am starting to shoot pics of the current amassed collection.
I picked up the watch shown at a local antique shop this February for $10, and the clerk wanted to be sure that I realized it didn't run!!!
Told him for that price I would take my chances.
This has an asteric for the date code and a 7AH 17 jewel movement, rolled gold plate case with a stainless back.
The case measures 20.6mm wide by 29.22 long not including the lugs. The case is rectangular without any curve from top to bottom.
The crystal is approximately 15.45mm by 24.34mm long with a slight curve from top to bottom.
I have looked through the ads and haven't found a match yet. I am leaning toward a Minute Man but its not an exact match.

1943 G-S catalog has:
MX374 24.4x15.5 Only the Conqueror & Phantom
1952 BB catalog has:
MX2442 24.4x15.4 Only the Boone & Golden Eagle
There is a late model 1939 unrated "Conqueror C" (speculation) entered into the db by William/WatchCrystals.net but no ads.
I think we can eliminate the Phantom since all of the ads have it engraved and without a seconds hand. Although, the last example is 1939.
This leaves the Boone and the Golden Eagle, neither of which is represented in the db or the ads.
***EDIT*** Woohoo! Post was approved.
In reply to VERY cool. I love when we by plainsmen
Yeah, when I spotted this in the store it immediately went into my tight grasp as I looked over the rest of the items being displayed. I have a pretty good memory but didn't recognize this at all.
After looking at the pictures I think I will have to move this up higher on the "Fix Next" list.
