1947 Bulova "His Excellency GG", 21J 7AK movement with 47 date code, 14K Rose Gold Filled case and back, Satin White dial with raised Gold numbers and unusual markers, Gold hands, New BB Glass crystal, new Burgandy leather strap, 5X signed. Nice looking and good running dress watch
Slight dial difference from HE GG 1948 Ad below: (click for full ad)
January 1955 model list shows
1948 HE NN ad below left. Lugs below slightly different than GG. 1949 HE PP ad below right, with same lugs and different dial. My point here: with over 48 variants of HE's listed, and dial variations having unique Bulova model numbers and variant letter designations, I'd confirm subject watch to GG if it matched ad dial style of GG ad above.

JP, we have three of four of these dials in 1946 and 1947 Directors/His Excellency. They appear in Satin and Salmon (or what ever the term is for that "rose" colored dial).

I'm still at two ticks, as the dial difference btwn subject watch and "GG" variant ad may make it another variant for which we don't have an ad. There were lots of variants of this model at this point in time, and these subtle differences (dial) are shown to make a difference in variant ID.
