this watch is antimagnetic, antishock, and waterproof. Has no date code on case. Has rebuilt on dial. Cannot find any info about rebuilt. can't get the back off to see if movement is dated.

I'm sorry I have no way to send pics. Am really interested in what rebuilt means. I've never seen that on a Bulova before. The watch is a basic round case. On the dial it says (reading top to bottom) Bulova 23 Jewels Rebuilt Automatic Waterproof Anti-Shock Antimagnetic. On the back it says All Stainless Steel Antimagnetic Shock Protected Automatic 100% Waterproof Tested and has a diamond with TK in it. There is no date code on the back. So far have not been able to remove the back to check the movement .
I suspect this is a watch that was assembled using a non Bulova case and dial. "Rebuilt" meaning that someone took a working Bulova movement from a broken or badly worn watch case, put a non Bulova dial ( Bulova probably wouldn't have put the word 'rebuilt' on it ) and then slipped it into a non Bulova case. We often see watches that have the "Bulova Movement" on the dial that are the same thing. The diamond TK is likely the case manufacturers mark, making it a non Bulova case. Normally we would not consider these to be Bulova watches but only watches with Bulova movements. On the other hand, short of removing the caseback I guess we really can't even be certain it has a Bulova movement.
