We recently found this watch in its original box hidden in our 1918 home. It is 14k white gold and works perfectly. It is indentified as belonging to the original homeowner's wife with her name handwritten on the underside of the lid. All comments are welcome.

The clincher will be the exact diameter of the movement itself, (in mm) but I strongly suspect '954' also.
A French ligne, or ''' is 2.256mm, so a difference of one ligne in diameter is really just over 1mm around the whole outside edge of the movt. This is why a critical measurement is necessary, as a 9''' and a 10''' will look almost the same.
In all likelihood, the ebauche maker's mark is under the dial, with calibre number. If your watchmaker can record that as well during the course of the service, it would make things very clear.
