Hi triplej - welcome to myBulova, it's a nice looking Bulova you have here. I've looked too but don't find a match to any of our ads. I see a similarity to the 1972 Sea King but they were date only, not day / date like yours.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to say "Unknown" as well.
I can see the similarities in the watches you have suggested, but what keeps throwing me for a loop is the fact that on my case it isn't a solid oval, but instead the oval is broken by a circular second tier closest to the face, as can be seen in the last picture. I don't know if they changed those models between '72 and '76, but it made me wonder if the case wasn't the original case...maybe I'm overthinking it. Anyways, thank you very much for your input.

There are quite a few case similarities between Accutron and mechanical movement Bulovas (Caravelles too for that matter). Inside they are vastly different. As you probably know, Accutron was ground breaking technology invented by Bulova in the early 1960's and used battery powered movements instead of mechanical hand or auto wound movements. The second generation movement, the 218 is also notable for having the crown in the 4 o'clock position instead of 3 o'clock. There are a precious few examples of names crossing over between Bulova and Accutron models, I doubt this would be one of them.
