Hi,
I am hoping that someone can help me! I just recently inherited a watch from my Grandmother.. I am having a hard time finding out what type it is. I know that is from 1959, because of the L4 stamped on the back, but I can't figure out which model it is, as there are at least 6 different numbers stamped on the inside of the case, as well as a number on the outside.. AND another number on the watch mechanism itself... I am very confused as to which number I need to use to find the model.
I am hoping that someone out there can help me out with this, as I need to get it cleaned, and put away safely!!!
Thank you all for any help you can give me!

Okay so I am having difficulties uploading pictures (I can't figure out how to do it) But I can give a lttle more info about the numbers on the watch:
On the back of the mechanism (all stamped on into the metal);
Bulova Watch Co.
In a small rectangle the numbers 089
Swiss L4
Adjusted seventeen Jewels with 17 stamped just over it
INSIDE THE CASE (these are all of the numbers that I can make out, and they all look like they were etched in to casing with a pin or file of some sort... DEFINATLY not stamped)
32373
543949
583521
49258
An odd symbol of some sort kind of looks like a figure eight 14129
Each of these numbers have a figure of some sort etched in beside them at the end, but I cannot make out what they are..
I hope that someone can help, and if I can ever figure out how to upload pictures I will post them!
Please email the photos to [email protected] and I will upload them for you.

Hi Bob,
I tried to look through the models of Lady Bulova for the year 1954, and I cannot find the watch.. It is however very helpful that I have a possible model for it. I can at least let the jeweler know what we think it might be when I take it in to get it cleaned!
Thank you!
