Since Jerin had a good catch here is one I am waiting to arrive.
.
In another view I spotted this...
For $10 plus $10 for shipping on a batch of "Steam Punk" stuff I may have gotten lucky with what looks to be a 1926 or earlier conquerer case. Will be interesting to see what movement pieces are in the box.
The second shown in the watch search section. I just assumed it slipped in under the radar early in the posting of pictures. However the inside of the case is marked Bulova.
As I posted in the other section, Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes the bear gets you.
Not a bulova case but close to the same size. The name on the inside is ARISTA and I think LUSTRITE or maybe LUSBRITE.
Whomever the collector was concentrated on cheap stuff. Oh well, there is always next auction!!

Thats part of the fun when buying these watchmaker lots, most turn out to be nothing but junk but every now and then you can hit the jackpot.
For a 20 spot, you should come out ok, cherry pick it , add some of your unwanted, and put it back up for $9.99...you never know about those "Steampunkers"

Hey Plains. close but no cigar. Although I am really glad you found that ad as I bought this junker a few years back with the intention of always fixing it up. I always wondered what year it was from....now I know.
It's a Vanburen......spelt B.U.L.O.V.A ;-) with a ''AA' grade movement. Quite nice.
