Hello all, I just recently bought this watch site unseen and I cant find it anywhere in the adds. The movement has a rams head or something on it that makes it a 1930 or 40. I thought that it may be a art deco watch from the 50's but the movement is throwing me off. It is only 15 jewels which I believe would put it more in the 30's and the movement is numbered 541464. The case is stainless on the back which makes me wonder if it isnt a Frankenbully case. The case is square and the crystal comes up a good 1/8th of an inch. Hopefully someone here could help me out.
Yikes! The dreaded "Bulova Movement" dial. That's not a good sign. What is stamped inside and outside the case back?
The 10AN movement with serial number and omega sign dates to 1930, but that's not a 1930 style case or dial.
My guess is that the only thing Bulova about the watch is the movement, which means it was correctly advertised as "Bulova Movement" (only). The rest of the watch was produced by another company.

OK, since that is two people who seem that they know what they are talking about I will keep the movement. I did think about it before I posted and thought that maybe the movement was worth it regardless. I have just started looking into collecting Bulova's since they are beautiful and in my honest opinion, I really love the fact of what they did for the vets. That in itself is one of the reasons I am drawn to the company. I have always been a lover of things older and I love the looks of the 40 era bulova watches.
