The history that I know of is that it came from a business that closed in the 1990's when the owner retired. I have attached my photos. For some unknown reason to me at least, the front picture is sideways and I can not turn it?

RJ, unfortunately we don't provide evaluations on vintage watches.
I don't think this is the first time we've seen this happen but I'm not sure why this was done. It may be related to the recession. Perhaps others can shed some light on matter.
Here is a normal inside case of a Conqueror.
