Couldn't find it in the DB - The date code is a triangle and a square stamped side by side - Sorry I put this one in before I got a chance to clean it up. Condition is not bad other than the crystal and the balance spring is broken
# on movement is 561732. I know in that it does appear to be an omega symbol but under magnification it is definitely a triangle and a square. Also can't find and markings indicating silver or gold. I did notice the letter F stamped between the lugs on the latch side of the back
So a 1931 date stamp on the movement. I was reading on some of the other threads with La Fayettes and Governors that they look almost identical but have different crystal sizes. The Governor at 24.6 x 22.4 and the La Fayette at 24.8 x 19.5 (G-S T1145). Would you be able to measure the crystal?
It also looks like Governor was late 1920's and La Fayette was early 30's. So I am still leaning towards La Fayette at the moment unless your crystal size says Governor.

Nice pickup on crystal variance, Kathy. This appears to indeed be a La Fayette. The date stamping on the movement is curious. I've never seen 2 date stamps so perfectly alligned as to share a common line. Based on case S/N, I'm inclined to say it is a square shield for 1931, which would jive with a 1932 case number.
I'm at 1932 La Fayette
