Watch Description

Hi all,  Is this case a Ranger?  1932 date code, and case number starts with a 2...  I realize it's a redial, but was attracted to the neat two-tone case.  I didn't see a two-tone Ranger in the database or otherwise, but I may have missed it...

Thanks,  David

EDIT: 2014.08.09   Case Serial Number changed from outside number (211943) to inside case SN 2128000

I got a kick out of seeing the new posts yesterday, since by coincidence I chose to wear that watch for the day...   For what its worth, I'm pretty convinced its a Maxim (at least when compared to the one on Watchophilia), but you guys are the experts...

Hi dhhirsch.  Does your watch have the yellow gold horizontal areas on the bezel?  It looks like yours only has the yellow (two-tone) gold parts running up and down along the vertical bezel.  Lisa's example has both horizontal and vertical yellow gold bezel.

Yes, the yellow gold is also horizontal and goes all around the watch.  It probably doesn't look like it in the picture because of the lighting...

As fifth would say, Whoops...

1933 advert. Same hands/numerals font. Two-tone gold filled case.

For some reason, the picture is "elongated" vertically and will not "stretch" to actual dimensions of original.
