Once again we have the elusive 21 J, 10AX movement in this Beacon-esk dial. The watch model still unknown.
Second one I've found in this exact configuration. Just got the watch today... needs a pretty good cleaning.
I have this one dated 1942 with a 21 jewel 10AK, which I had tentatively ID'd as a Carrel from the 1942 ad. Sure looks like the right case, just with a dial variant. . . and different hands and 21 jewels instead of 17. It does have the silver dial specified in the ad.

That's what I was hoping as well Lisa... but am I detecting scrolling down the sides of the Carrels bezel? Always a bad sign when we're looking to nail down an ID. Scrolled vs. Non-Scrolled cases... boo.
Hrmm... I'll have to look but I think it was the same one Mark.
