Yes that's the One bobbee. I wonder if Pan American World Airways is a subsidary of American Airlines for flights to south of the U.S. border ?

Don't know if this helps or not....

This has the correct dial from the Academy Award, but has the case of the Ambassador.

If this has an 8AC movement, would a dial for a 7AA (used in the academy award with this dial) fit the 8AC without modification?

Non-conventional.

I missed this one, sorry, I think it's going to have to be Unknown, too early to be Gedney or Everett, too different to be Ambassador. Either way, it's sure is a beautiful watch!

Yea unfortunately Unknown for now.  The solid gold should eventually help nail down an ID.

Found a match in the 1957 Linebook BAWD0132 page 74 but there is no name just model #38112.  Price appears to reflect gold and the dial and case are an exact match. Should we call it by the model number until a name is found.

1950 Bulova Model #38112

Somewhere in that same linebook is a page with just names, one that also has 38112 and Winslow.

Winslow is a good match

Ken Anderson prepared a excel workbook some years back cross referencing model numbers to names, 38112 is called Winslow - like THIS one. 1950 Bulova Winslow
