Dave - the 'scratchings' are watchmakers codes for what type service was perfomed.

So does anyone Know what the scratchings mean? Also anyone have a Clue about this watch and how many were made like this? This watch was Found in the Phillipines and brought back to the states..seems to me it might be a rare watch as not much info is available about it?

Dave  I haven't a clue what those watchmakers markings mean.  It's like a secret code to me.  Could be that the also vary by watchmaker too- so it's not like they are standardized. There may be "patterns" which a watchmaker can decipher...but not me.

From 1957 Ad in Vintage Ad Collection. Definitely a Martha Washington.

1957 Martha Washington "K" is an exact case match but in two tone

This watch is a 1957 Martha Washington "Variant Unknown"  (We can rule out variant A,E,G,K,I,and J)
