Watch Description

There is a 3AK inside a rectangle inside the watch on the back of the watch, back of the plate has a square and inside it has REF and  K74 below the REF, look like a 1676 inside a flag and it says Swiss unadjusted N3 Bulova 3AK and inside the front casing is 574. Also, inside the watch says Bulova watch company  This was my mothers watch which I have inherited and I would love more information on it, thank you in advance for any help you can provide.  I am sorry but I was unsure how to answer some of the above questions, I have not been able to find this watch on line anywhere.

These high-end diamond models unfortunetly didn't get much ad time as I guess the target market audience was fairly small. It's probably from one of the many 'diamond series' that Bulova had, so perhaps we will one day come across a price list for this period showing a 38 Diamond watch, thus providing a name.

Thank you for your comment, what happens now to my request for information? Do you have a place you put all the unknowns and look at them when you find new ads? Is Bulova a source for your research? Thank you so much for your time and efforts.

Hi Debbie - we keep the Unknowns in our data base forever. If we ever find an advert match we'll update this record accordingly. We do not get a lot of research material from Bulova as they don't have much of it either on these older watches. Everything we have we glean from vintage advertising in newspapers and magazines.

Good to know, thanks so much, I found this watch on Pinterest with a different band, it took me to eBay and one sold in 2016 it was nice to see another one but still do not know the name, it had a different serial number I guess because the band was different. The fave and all the diamonds was the same.

Found the watch in the 1974 Line Book BAWD0190 Page 53 on a two page section titled "Diadem Series"  Variants are not listed. Jewel count matches.

Thank you so much, that’s the watch. I was losing hopes of finding more information on it. Are the line books you are referring to something I can look at on line?
