estateauctions Sellers Description mentions mybulova.com
“This auction is for a circa 1929 Bulova Wrist Watch, we think it matches the face of the 1929 Fleetwood, but this one has a 17 Jewel 10AN movement. (We matched it on the mybulova com site - what an incredible Bulova resource!!) We may have it wrong, if so, let us know and we will get it up here.”
You have it exactly right Sir!
Seens like sometimes we are ID'ing with the main factors being the movement jewel count, and other times we are ID'ing based on the cases. If I knew which of these metrics were "more important", and in which model series or individual watch records this "priority" applied, I could be more consistent in my voting.
The only problem I see as far as subject watch being an Ambassador is the ad does not state a two tone engraved bezel where as the ad for the Fleetwood does state that the bezel is two toned.
What say you gents.
My vote is Fleetwood all the way.
PS anyone needing lumed hands contact me.
