But since then.... all this sellers March 21st ads NOWHERE mention original.  Very good, catchy, descriptions... but they've now left out original in anything.

I guess while I personally wouldn't collect these, I understand the market for them.

Since the seller seems to have possibly gotten (my?) point... and is now advertising them in a more hotrod fashion... ie Corvette colors... that sort of thing, I have no problem with it.

They're no longer advertising "original" to the watch stuff.

Was it our emails to him... maybe... maybe not.  But at least they might have seen our point of view.

Like yourself, I was also emailing them, and reporting them to EBay under the "Fraudulent Postings catagory" option. Any little bit helps...

It's great that you have taken action and gotten him to quit listing these dials as "original".  Now maybe one of you could offer to be an artistic consultant for his "hot rods", because they are getting worse.  I mean just look at this one listed today:

OMG...

What ELSE, is there to SAY, really!? The fact that the dude averages $268.00 a sale (even in 2011, mind you!) REALLY goes to show... that eBay needs to BOOT! about 2/3s of their "sellers..." But they won't... (The flip side, of course... is 80% of their BUYERS, are STILL "buying it!!!" SAD, but so TRUE...)

"Another SUCKER born every minute," eh???
